I bought the camera yesterday. It is beautiful, I just love to hear it fire off. I know that I will be able to take beautiful pictures with it, and hopefully, one day, they will be published in one of my favorite publications, National Geographic or Lonely Planet.
So I think I found my camera, the Pental istDL, I am IN LOVE with the darn thing.
When I have that, and I move to the Jungle, I am going to be able to take AMAZING pictures, and I will be one step closer.
I imagine what the image would look like.
There are times when I look around in Philly, and I just think, if I could capture life, exactly as I see it, then I would have this goal down flat.
But, first of all, I still haven’t bought my camera yet. Second, it is going to take a long time I get the feel of the new camera.
I think I am going to have to take this goal really slow. I got to learn how to use a “real” camera.
And when I do I will take that photograph that is going to be a testament to how I see the world.
National Geographic has the best photography in the world. They try to promote this ideal that there is wonder and worth in every inch of the planet. I want one of my pictures to stand forever, like the Afgan Girl, which gives a face to the faceless.
I would settle for Lonley Planet though, they have an amazing view of the world through the eyes of a traveler (not a tourist)
