Learn to lay ceramic tile
I would love to learn how to lay ceramic tile. It does so much to a bathroom or kitchen. It even looks nice throughout one’s home. Carpet can get dirty and start to look worn, especially with children. Tile is just expensive to buy and installation can cost a fortune. We got a deal because one of our friends owns a flooring business. However, I would love to know how to do it myself. I am considering purchasing a video. Does anyone know of a good one? I’ve been checking out this one: Cermaic Tile Help. Anyone heard anything either good or bad?

I gutted the bathroom to dirt in the basement and removed everything including the plumbing and joists. I replaced it all and then did the tilework myself. The new whirlpool and deep soaks really were the best reward for learning to do tile. Remember – Use those little rubber cross thingies. The bank guy came by to see the bath before signing off the loan and said “Nice bathroom. Who did the tile ?” I told him I did. He asked how many years I had be doing tile and I told him “first time”. He said no way. I said “WAY” and got the loan.

Almost everyone in my family knows how to lay ceramic tile, except me. I bought beautiful tiles in my husband’s country and I want to put them on my kichen wall. I would love to be able to do this on my own. I would feel so proud to be able to put it up on the wall myself.
