i want to start in alabama and make my way to washington state, almost accross the whole country.. i’m thinking we’ll pass through Louisianna, mississippi, texas, new mexico, arizona and on to LA, stay in texas and LA and then up through ca to oregon and to WA.. i’ve been all these places but i want to do a rd. trip and then maybe drive back diagonally through idaho, colorado, oklahoma, etc, back to Alabama.. ??!!! anyway, i really need a new car before i do this, or a rental….

update to this march 2012—my husband drove across country alabama to oregon when we moved here but i flew w/ my two year old :) dang, missed my chance but would have been way too hard w/ a two year old, three dogs and two cats! 5 years ago

My friends and I live in the country on the faaar east coast. Our destination is San Fransisco to attend an anime convention of which the title shall not be named. The majority of the trip will be spent in costumes (just for the fun of it) while the other half we’ll be in jeans and t-shirts. Anyway, does anybody know of some really nerdy or quirky places we could stop just to look or eat at? The stranger the better~! 2 years ago
