preach a sermon

God blessed me with a remarkable ability to write and speak. I can think of no better outlet for than talent that using it to glorify His name.

...it was a lot more to it than I planned…And I planned for a lot…

Next Sunday I have been asked to offer a sermon. I’m a bit nervous but I am not prepared at this point. I’m flattered, honored & enthusiastic!!

Preaching is one of the humbling and rewarding experiences I have ever had. God is so good.

I’ve preached at my local Youth Church about doing the “Impossible” and about prayer. Though the latter (truthfully my first) was in fact longer, I beleive that the first impacted peoples lives more, in that I told them what to do, God expecting it, God showing it, and God telling us how to do it. I really encourage you if you want to start but never got “qualified” training in a school to give one anyways. There is only one teacher that you need and he will guide you through every step of the way. I could help if you need it just as one of his pawns in a much bigger game that he has planned for my and your life.

Tough to prepare, difficult to offer as well. Empowering as well as humbling.
