rainsong is making a note of the requirements of passport renewal. =)
I am a week late doing my tasks for passport renewal. But, today (Monday) I was able to get my passport photocopied. So, that’s one task down!
Tomorrow or Wednesday, I will pass by LBC to get the form.
Tonight, I’ll look for my current passport photos. I can do this!

First step done: I checked online for the steps in getting my passport renewed. It’s pretty simple (see steps below). So on Monday, I will get my requirements ready (photocopies of old passport, passport photos). Then, I will call the hotline just to doublecheck the requirements.
Tuesday, I will pass by LBC to get the form and fill it out!
Wednesday, I will turn in the form and pay the fee.
I can do this!

At last I have sent off the application. I had the rudest woman ever “help” me in the post office. I don’t believe that they charge nearly £7 for a checking service that involves someone snatching your papers from you and then running off before you have a chance to ask them any questions. Luckily the UK passport agency have a decent website so I could find stuff out but she pissed me off. Now I just need my partner to apply for one. It’ll be harder for him though as it is a first passport so he’ll need all the photos authentiacted and his birth certificate etc.

Grrr I just went to get my photos done and the machine is out of order. I’d put make up on and everything. There’s another machine at the station in town so I’ll go there on the way home.

brickhorse has all the swirling plates in the air!
I’ve moved it to “giving up” since it doesn’t need to be done for 1 1/2 years, and I don’t want to renew too soon, and lose out on the money I paid for it last time. I’ll move this back to my 43 things list, probably this time next year, to remind me to do it.

for October 2010 to go to Italy and France. My passport will be expired by then. I have decided to renew about this time in 2009, unless I get an extra $100 and an itch to renew it. Then it could be sooner.
