Voulez-Vous is looking 4ward 2 da fireworks
imagine playing hide and seek, you would win every time! haha.
How I did it: I am 13 and I Moved to Ohio, I live in a 2-story house and there are 4 secret rooms. First three are Crawlspace attics and the other one is a removable shelf that goes behind my TV. (Two of the crawlspace attics have sub-secret rooms above my room and our office!)
PS My crawlspace is haunted...
Lessons & tips: Move to an old house or a mysterious Haunted House!

While this goal might be thinking a bit big in terms of an ability to hid people, I’ve done so numerous times with secret compartments and stashes in the house. I have always been fascinated with hiding things in hidden compartments and rooms but the problem with hidden rooms is that they are too large to really hid without making people wonder. Secret compartments on the other hand are small enough for stashes and make use of spaces that are easily overlooked and disregarded. Not that I really have that much that I really need to hid to those who know me, just that I enjoy having secret stashes even if they are filled up with very trivial things for the thrill of knowing that it is a secret.

about finishing our basement and suggested the other day that it should have a steampunk decor. I have always thought those pneumatic message tubes like they have at bank drive through windows or in old office buildings were cool and I am thinking it would be fun to install one of those between the finished steampunk basement and other parts of the house like the kitchen. I think somehow this idea fits in spirit with this goal.

What a cool goal and one I hope I fulfill the next time I move into another house. The coolest thing would be to build a home with cool nooks and whatnot, but if that’s the case I know it’s a long ways off. Unless I took a house and added on…Anyway, this is a long ways off goal, but a great one nonetheless.

I love old houses, I really want to live in one.
I know some houses like this that are for rent downtown in a city really nearby.
I hope I can rent one with a couple friends when I go off to college (:
thesadmonkey likes grace notes... so far.
Those Nancy Drew books have made me think this was a great idea since about the age of 7. I would love to design and then live in a house with secret passageways. It would be ridiculously awesome.
