wear sexier underwear

Blueprint mag has a section dedicated to pretty, wearable sexy under/night things this month. I plan to leave it open on the seat in df’s car about 5 days before Feb 14.

IF that fails I’ll use my b-day as a reason to upgrade.

Okay, who knew thongs were comfy? I honestly knew I never had an interest in that triangle peeking (or glaring) outside of way too low jeans (nor could anyone stomach the muffin top that would prevail), but really, these things are damn comfortable. I’ve found a whole range of them. First, there are the ones that are just like floss, elastic band ones. They can get a little camel-toey if they aren’t made with a big enough croth area (which now I know to look for). Then, there are the lacy kind – great to buy at Ross and Fredericks of Hollywood for next to nothing. My faves, by far, though are cotton ones that have all the comfort of every day panties with no bun coverage included.
Which brings me to seamless panties vs. seams. The thong thing made me realize that seams hug the bum more and untimately look better. Now, I am slowly replacing my old panties with prettier seamed panties. Not only for comfort and cuteness factor, but with the weight loss, my once comfy panties are a little saggy… um, not cool.

Man, I used to work at Vicky’s, for crying out loud …. I have drawers full of sexy underwear and frilly bras … But I’ve totally lapsed into the “practical panties” mode. Not that I need to wear a thong EVERY day, but just enough to make me feel … well, hot! This one is probably more for my husband than for me, but I’m sure I’ll reap the benefits (wink, wink)

I have to go hunt for a shirt to wear for a formal dinner next Saturday tommorow – Planning on picking up something nice!

I found a hidden stash of homely underwear in a dresser drawer. Today, it and with it, the last of my non-cute panties shall be departing. Ta Ta!

Since I cleaned out my underwear drawer last week, I’m afraid it needs some refilling so I can get through the week without doing laundry.

I think this evening I might go shopping for something everyday that’s a tidge more risque than my normal everyday stff.

You can’t flirt in giant soggy-bottomed cotton monstrousities. Law of nature ;)

There are two main reasons I decided I wanted to add this goal.

One is from looking at my aim to “Be more confident” – well, yes, but it lacks definition! In trying to think of ways to break it down I decided that small things, like having gorgeous underwear on, might serve to remind me that I am a confident (smart, sexy, blah blah ;)) woman.

The other was just an urge to have more pretty things in my life.

So… comfy cotton knickers begone! Well, at least for 3 out of every 4 weeks ;) Shall have to look for more pretty-AND-comfortable undies – dagnam M&S for not having their Wild Hearts range any more – I love those things!
