It was really hot for April in Charlottesville (84 degrees) and that made it tough--and I should have bought new shoes since I’m pretty sure that my toenails are going to fall off now. But it was still worth it. It’s time to move on now—a metric century on the bike in May.

I can’t wait until this is over. It’s supposed to storm tomorrow, but at least it will be warm. I should be able to check this off in another 36 hours!!!!

It was sunny and relatively warm--we ran about 4 1/2 hours and had a really nice time. Slow, very slow. Saw grandma in the middle of the run and fell over a fence onto the pavement. We’ve decided on Charlottesville April 15—I think.
