pass grade 5 music theory

i took the test back in march, i was feeling ok going into the exam. i thought that i did quite well in the exam, well, well enough to pass, but that want the case,i FAILED :(... i did so much work before. i have been learing music since i was 8 but i had never really done any intense theory before i needed to. i passed my grade 5 practicial 3 years ago and never really thought that i should take the theory quickly so i could do my grade 6, i decided that may if i had a break i would learn the therory earier…i wrong i was…

hard but worth it- i took it today!

Well, I see some other people also want to do this / have done this. But from reading their entries, it seems Unisa grade 5 music theory is much more difficult than what they did (Royal Schools?).

Cadence … blah… transposing … blah … try writing four part harmony for the first time in your life. Very interesting though :)
