I started learning Irish Gaelic in August. It’s coming along sort of slowly since I keep forgetting about it (fail, I know), and my local library has zero resources for learning it, unlike practically every other language ever. :|
Rant aside, it’s one of my favorite languages.

I’m learning German and need Spanish based on common sense (I live in California). I think for the other one (besides my first language, English) I might go with Finnish, or Welsh, because they’re gorgeous languages.

A little high school Spanish
and i want to add something outside of the romance language family…Russian? Arabic? Japanese?

i think it would be the best thing to be able to speak more than 4 languages. you’re not only learning the languages, but usually, you also learn about the countries and the cultures. And doesnt that make you a really well-rounded person?
so i speak fluent english and french, and i’m almost fluent in danish, as i am living in denmark at the moment. any ideas for a cool language i can learn to reach my goal???

So, I’ve always had a dream of having a conversation with 3 other people, with each person speaking a different language, and everyone understanding everything.
I used to speak French well, and I have thought about learning Spanish. I would like to pick up French again and learn Spanish, and then some other language, maybe an odd African language or something…
This one will take a long time, but I want to do it…

I finally started taking lessons at Langara College (Vancouver) for beginner’s mandarin. It feels good finally getting serious about this goal. I think I put this goal in months ago but was only casually trying to teach myself. Since 43 things deleted my old post, here’s the other 3 I know:
1. English
2. Japanese
3. French
4. Mandarin (slowly learning it)
Anyways, good luck to everyone who’s doing this goal!
