buy some new clothes

For my birthday i asked for money and added £100. The week after when my son started school my husband took me to the city and I made sure i spent the lot! I managed to get some basics and boots and intend to pop back regulary, even if just to browse. No intention of going clothes crazy just be nice to have enough to get through a week!!

My weight yo-yos, I’ve been very poor for a few years and I really really must buy some new clothes. I really struggle with treating myself and as a result I am desperate! So I must, must go and get some new clothes.

Today i bought some black and red flat shoes.
The black ones will be good for school and the red ones will go with the new dress i bought yesterday.
I also bought some black tights too.

I bought a new dress, red cardigan and red tights for my Godson’s christening on the 10th of March.

I might buy a new skirt and vest top for the meal i am going to on monday, but it depends how much it costs.

Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be? I never have liked shopping. The crowds, the annoying assistants, the clothes that never fit. Add to that the fact I’m not pretty much housebound, I will be buying online. I won’t be doing it straight away though, even though I am down to a handful of clothes that still fit. This will be a reward for getting back into shape. A new wardrobe, I can’t think of a better incentive.

I have no idea how, but in the time-span of one hour, I suddenly found myself with 4 (count it – FOUR) new pairs of pants! That is almost worth being noted in the World Records Book coming from me! Maybe it had something to do with me having had to take a calming pill two hours in advance (because of the fear-neurosis kicking in during work). Either way, just one more pair of pants and I am settled for a Long (capital L) time. Now just a new winter jacket and some extra shirts and my closet is filled as it should be for the moment.

So I’m thinking about kicking this goal into the DONE list. Have to have something in that list grins. But either way, I can now look around at clothes calmly without any pressure like before. O’course, this ‘ll change as soon as spring / summer comes and I’ll need some extra things. But I am settled for now at least!

(Yeah, shopping really is my favorite thing to do *note the dripping sarcasm!)

It was a PAINFUL experience, but I managed to make it out to a couple of pre- Labor Day sales and scored some sweet deals. $12 jeans at Old Navy… and only a line of like 70 people to wait through!

Got some good stuff at REI, too.

My wardrobe is ten years old. MOney goes toward kids and house. I want a new wardrobe for my new figure!

I bought a couple pairs of jeans and some t shirts a while back. Sadly, I’ve been putting on weight, so I have some more shopping to do.

I’ve also discovered that I am now officially too old for low rise jeans.

in recent weeks have bought a new pair of shorts , nice bar shirt , new socks , new t – shirt , new belt . so guess have done this one . but clothes is a never ending search i have found .
