this year I started the first water polo club on my university’s campus—I played goalie for 4 years in high school, and it is so completely different to try to explain to people what you cant even explain to yourself. To try to teach the techniques that you never really learned is SO hard—I played goalie—my job was to make sure the balls didnt get past me. To teach someone how to play defense, run drills, to practice the right shooting techniques, and to be the most effective player is damn near impossible—its a learning experience for anyone involved, but most definitely worth it!!
