I guess I can’t go this year… bummer. the trip is just too expensive. I might have to find another way to make this happen.
Also, I think I am going to have to replace going to London this July with getting my wisdom teeth taken out. =(
I’m pretty much in love with England. And it sucks to be in love with a country you’ve never been to, a country that your college offers as a location to study abroad, and a country that a TON of your friends have already been able to visit, possibly multiple times.
I am GOING to study abroad in LONDON! It’s GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!
First problem: money.
Damn money…
If all goes according to plan, that is. I want to get a professional internship in London over the summer. With this, I can get at least one internship under my belt, plus see London! I need to do this.

For motivation, I printed a picture of London at night and taped it on my bedroom wall by my door, so whenever I leave my room, I know what I want to achieve, coming from small-town Michigan.
Can I just forget about the whole studying abroad thing?! Can’t I just spend my entire 4 years of college over there studying what I want to? Sometimes I wonder because it’s the only thing I look forward to, and with my current school, I’m not allowed to go, says Queen administrator bitch who thinks I have too many project reviews before I leave campus. Oh well…
I’ll keep going if it means I get to go here though. Though the administrator might try to tell me there’s nothing to study in 4th year there, I can fight back by making my own studies of interior and exterior architecture?
I’m kind of convinced that I’ll never want to leave though…
I’m at Queen Mary, University of London for the semester. So far, it’s fabulous, though very exhausting. Pubbing is THE THING to do, and figuring out my classes has been crazy. But it’s awesome being in London.
One of the best experiences ever! Being on my own meeting new people, travelling to so many places, and learning lots of new things every day!!!!!
