Ever since I was really little I have loved to drink milk. It’s probably my favorite thing in the entire world to drink.
I am trying to protect my vocals because I love to sing, and the worst thing for your vocals is dairy.
Hopefully I can convince my mom to not buy it anymore so that it’s not so tempting!

Elusive Sleuth life is awesome :)
I’ve really cut down on my milk consumption over the last 6 months. I don’t have milk at breakfast time anymore, I don’t have hot chocolates after school like I used to and I certainly don’t drink it by the glass.
It has really really helped my complexion, the difference is quite noticable. This was the main reason I decided to cut back on milk.
I haven’t eliminated it completely, and I don’t think I ever will, as in social situations I may have a hot chocolate. I’ve said this is ok though, as long as i’m not drinking it like I used to. I don’t miss it, i’ve found alternative things to drink, and just steer clear of muesli. :)
Milk makes me sick but whenever it’s in the house, I can’t seem to stop drinking it. I’ve tried soy and rice milk and can’t stand either one. I guess the craving stems from my childhood. My mom always told me not to drink the milk, that it was for cooking. So now I drink it as much as I can.

My skin is a lot clearer when I don’t drink milk so i’ve cut down on the amount I drink, but still occasionally have some to drink. I’d like to cut down a lot more, and only drink it very rarely.
I used to have cereal for breakfast but now that I eat different things for breakfast like toast, omelette, or scrambled eggs I don’t have it breakfast time.
I still have the occasional hot chocolate, although a lot less often than I used to. I don’t think i’ll be able to cut them out completely!
I prefer to drink water or juice when i’m thirsty and try avoid milk in other situations. I won’t be able to cut down completely (sometimes if I’m meeting up with friends I may have hot chocolate in a cafe for example) but I will be excluding milk out of my everyday routine.
We got some lactaid and it seems to be helping. I am finding I actually like milk, now that its not making me sick.
I’ve been on a Master Cleanse for 9 days…and I feel fantastic. I think a big part of this is that I’m not consuming any milk. Two of my children are allergic to milk, and while I’ve never been tested…I tend to think I must be allergic too. I think I will try to never drink milk again.
Timid Magick finds goal #1 really annoyingly hard to do!
but I eat lactose free icecream, drink lactose free milk, ask for no cream or butter on my stuff and less cheese on pizza. Can’t entirely cut it out when I love dairy products, but this is good enough.

I discovered I was lactose intolerant in my midteens but absolutely love milk and milk products but they make me feel very sick. Drinking straight milk makes me throw up. I’d miss pizza and ice-cream and chocolate, etc…
