living abroad makes this a bit more difficult. Here in poland, i can learn to teach Iyengar, but I am more interested in Ashtanga, Vinyasa styles. waiting until i move back to the states to get started on this one!

After smoking heavily and drinking myself silly for over 2 decades, I quit all the chemicals and started to get healthy. After a year or so, my Yoga teacher asked me if I’d like to got through a 200-hour teacher training program, for which I had neither the time nor money. I said ‘yes’ and finished the program in November of 2007. I’ve been teaching yoga classes in my spare time ever since. Definitely a rewarding thing to do!

...but it is not taking me in this direction right now.
Ananda Ashram is the real deal of yoga. It’s in a beautiful place where people really practice the real yoga – meditation and Sanskrit and hatha yoga. And they’re doing a yoga teacher training. I’m all over it.
I am Happy to say, that as of July 14th, 2007, I became Certified to Teach Yoga. I completed My Training and have signed up to go on to another level of Teacher Training. This will take me an additional 3 years, but I’m loving every single moment of it. (Even the Difficult Anatomy Homework and the learning of an additional 2 languages) I am Proud to say…
I Did It!
:)
I am starting my training on Saturday, 8-18! It’s a 200 hour course and is going to take about a year…I can’t wait!
