I finished my programming project

There’s nothing like writing a good software system, then come back years later and find that people are still using it.

I have two programming projects to teach myself (all at once)

MVC based programming

Ruby and Ruby on Rails

MySQL and general database design

I have two projects:
1: A social network site similar to MySpace and Friendster, but fast and with Web 2.0 pretties and niceties. As well as APIs for linking with blogs and such

2: A slang dictionary with moderation and such. There are many lofty goals for this project

Specifically, I want to finish my OCR program I’ve been working on intermittently for over the past year… I think it’s getting there, just need to get over the hump.

I want to learn c# and have thought about writing a blackjack game. I would like to program players with certain strategies and then spawn thousands of them all playing at once to discover the best strategies for given rules.
