I. Love. Toyata. Prius.
DO WANT
It’s just a little out of my price range. But…but…it would be better for the earth than the clunkers I could afford! No car for now :-)

Actually, it will probably be a hybrid SUV – We need something Luca (our great dane) is more comfortable in ;)

This one is on the back burner – specially since I had to buy a car by the end of 2008 to get 2009 under way – I think the best thing That can be done to try and accomplish goal in the near future is to save up for one, so that when a proper worthwhile hybrid comes I pounce on one at a dealership :)
my Prius way back in 2001, and have never regretted it. When I’m ready to buy new again, it’ll also be a hybrid, I’m sure. Prius is also great because of the super-low emissions, and is really just fun to drive! mine is not the new-style hatchback
Motown82 Is on to the next one.
JK! But seriously! I think it would a great idea. I don’t think I would save that much money at first but who knows! I’m going to start researching right now.
Against my boyfriend’s (now ex!) wishes, I traded my crap car in for a Toyota Prius and I LOVE it! I drive 30 miles to and 30 miles from school, and it is so nice to fill up once a week with less than 30 bucks.
More importantly, I feel so good driving down the street in a car that’s doing less damage than the fools on the road in the SUV. I love the environment, and the ability to breath, so I love that I’m not harming it more than it already is.
ceesmiles is getting ready to run another 5K race; 5K has become usual run
because i want to 1) buy my car straight out with cash and i won’t be there yet for two more years and 2) i think i could buy a wholly (holy?) electric by then, 3) may be living goal to live another country for a year and i won’t need a vehicle
yeah for the other people who will be doing this soon. i’ll keep riding my bike and taking transit.

Yet i feel as though I am still using petrol….. and that is like having a little pebble in my shoe…. you know the one you try to shake off when you stop in the middle of the street and take your shoe off and shake it … and nothing comes out… then you put your shoe back on and its STILL there!!
I am thingking of going GAS (LPG) = )
reachbrenda has a whole new life she's not so sure about at the moment
I am just way more green conscious than I have ever been, I wish the price were more affordable, but then I also wish people who drive SUVs as the only passenger were treated like racists, sexists and all those other labels that define the un-educated. I drive a little motor-scooter now, it costs me approximately two US dollars to fill up on gas A MONTH! Shocking isn’t it? And way more practical for the environment if I keep up on the maintenance . . .
