be a better friend and email/phone/see friends on regular basis

As much as I love my friends it can be so damn easy to not see them from one week to the next. To forget to text. To not make the effort and I want to.
I have the most amazing friends and if I don’t make an effort… I may lose something very special in my life.

Here’s to wanting to make an effort!

I’m recently single after a long and good relationship. It’s been incredibly tough to deal with, but there’s certainly a silver lining. Whereas I would tell my (now ex-)girlfriend everything during the relationship and thus not keep in touch so well with my old friends, i’m now speaking to all of them significantly more than before. It’s great, i have great friends, and it’s really good to reconnect with them all.

Whenever I do end up in a relationship again, I need to not fall into that trap.

Yeah, just recently I’ve noticed that I have hardly any friends close enough to hang out with. I have a best friend, a boyfriend, about two other close friends and that’s it. I think it’s time I made some new friends and improved my relationship with the ones I do have!

i alllllways cancel when i make plans to hang with anyone apart from my closest friends. i guess it’s a comfort thing..i just don’t like new situations with people i don’t know extremely well. i need to stop bailing on people because i know that eventually it will push them away;

Made an effort to email and call friends, joined facebook and feel I’m reconnecting with so many people – will continue to build on this!
