I thought about adding “find myself” or something like that, but thats not what I want to do. I think I have a pretty good understanding of who I am, regardless of how I’m changing at the moment.
It is not the person you are that counts, it is the person your trying to be. If you try to be nicer to people, you will be. If you try harder to help the environment you will. This goal is not about exploring myself and seeing whats there, its about looking outside myself, at the people I love and admire and figuring out the things in them that I wish was in me. Ultimately I want to become that person, a person I would really respect and admire.
I have never in my life been able to answer this question. Now that I am 21 going on 30 it seems much more pertinent than it did a few years ago. I am biding my time taking classes on and off at community college after dropping out of university after two years, andd I seem to have even less of a clue of what I want to do with my life. People have told me : “picture yourself in 20 years, what do you see yourself doing. Well the answer to that is I see myself in a nice conservitve yet sexy shirt suite sitting at a desk wearing a little too much make-up. Weird I know. So what exactly that is that I want to be I have no idea….
