How to go vegan"After seeing what I have seen, I can't imagine other way"
How I did it: It took me 90 days going from meat eater to vegan. I went instantly vegetarian without any knowledge about that veganism exists. Anyway, when I searched for nutrition and recipes, I became more informed about animal rights and veganism. So I became vegan. Lessons & tips: Be sure that you are eating healthy when you are going vegan. Read some nutritional material and don't rely on junk or other processed foods. When you wouldn't consider healthy to eat only bacon as omnivore, how could you think that eating only potato chips would be healthy? You don't have to over-plan, just make meals from variety of foods.

How I did it: It is possible to just jump into it but if you go into it gradually, it will be easier to stick to. In the beginning, you may want to experiment with substitutes (tofu, nut milks, veggie meats, veggie cheeses, etc) but the bulk of your diet should consist of fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, lots of fluids, etc. You may supplement your diet with a multi-vitamin, cal-mag, spirulina, etc but it is not completely neces… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've been vegetarian since I was 6 years old and about a month and a half ago I decided that being Vegan was the way to go. I no longer wanted to lie to myself that milk, eggs and other animal products were not hurting the animals. My friend and I made the decision together to at least try it for a week( you can do anything for one week, right?) so we did it, and it felt good. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I chose to be vegetarian at 11, and vegan at 17. I stopped veganism during my pregnancies (wish I hadn't), but am now back and became this way cold tomato ("turkey") Read how I did it…
How I did it: Lots of researching. Have to be in the right-mind set- know why you are doing it!Keep yummy vegan foods around and stay strong.Just because you were raised to think you must consume animal products like meat, eggs, and dairy- does not mean you have to. You're an adult now. Think of all the other options that we are fortunate around to have and go with those instead. You'll feel better, happier, and vegetable-based foods give you more ener… Read how I did it…
How I did it: We made the decision that we were going to go vegan. We gave ourselves a timeline (3 months - we had lots of frozen meats) to finish off all of the non-vegan foods in the house (we don't waste food or money so we didn't throw anything away). If anything needed to be purchased during this time (like milk), the vegan option was always purchased.During the 3 months, I started putting together a list of food ideas, vitamin needs, etc... INeedAHero in England is so ill!
I’ve officially been began for one whole day now, lol.
Obv it’s very early in the process but I haven’t found it hard or been hungry. I have had a headache the last 12 hours though, I’m not sure if that’t connected?
I want to go vegan, I’ve seen numerous videos of abuse that happens to animals at slaughterhouses and farms and I didn’t like what I saw. I cried and I was very angry, but mostly just sick. I never knew (or wanted to believe) that people could do that to animals. Currently right now though that’s the only thing that is making me to consider going vegan. But once I’m not watching the vidoes it feels like if I’m not watching the video then I can’t be upset about it. I really need help trying to figure out what I can do to take the next step to becoming vegan. any advice. I would greatly appreciate it.

I have found the most amazing shop. It’s a mini wholefoods like shop. I had no idea it existed, but it had a stall at a local college open day. I was so exited by my new find! I’m going to go as soon as I get a chance. Today I got some shiitake mushroom pate, it’s so tasty! And even better, it’s vegan.
I have been vegetarian for five months now and trying to cook more vegan meals. good start

On my list, I have ‘become a vegetarian for a month’, originally, that’s all I intended to do. However, I’ve been researching, and have found the true horrors of the meat and dairy and eggs industry.
It isn’t natural, it isn’t right.
I still have many products in my house, which are not vegan. I shall eat them, as it is more of a waste to throw them out, but I shan’t be buying any more. And as much as I can, i shall be avoiding animal products. I don’t think it will too hard. Unless I am eating out. However, it will mean cutting out a lot of processed foods, which is a good thing. It will take a couple of months, but eventually these products will be eaten and gone forever.
I drink sweetened soymilk now and I love it. It’s great to drink and on cereal. I no longer consume eggs, unless in things already in the house. (Which shan’t be bought again)
This isn’t a phase. To me, animals are living beings, and we do not have the right to enslave them.
I want so badly to feel better about myself. I was vegan for a short period of time before, but I fell off the wagon thanks to my love of cheese, as well as the frustration of no vegan-friendly restaurants where I was living at the time. Plus having unsupportive friends and family took its toll, for sure. But I think I can do it again. I just hope me and cheese stay broken up for good!
I went to a potluck dinner yesterday for Easter, and I thought I might slip up because of the variety of food there, but I didn’t even try any of the macaroni & cheese! I only ate the stuff I brought, which I knew where meatless, egg-less, and dairy-less.
