go to art school

i guess i could mark this as done since i am attending, but since i am a three time dropout i will wait until at least finishing my 1st year.

i really really want to go to art school. im in grade 12 now and the more i look around the more i realize how little time i have to engage myself with ARTS. there is so much im interested in, i feel like i should be spending every day taking pictures or writing poems or attending music shows or little cafe poetry readings.

i cant imagine going to anywhere but art school and having even less time to indulge in the world of arts around me.

i want to take journalism, photography, art history, as well as sexual diversity and music history.

i want to be an endless source of knowledge when it comes to literature and art.

i want to recite Keats in my sleep, and be one of those people that awkwardly tries to incorporate shakespeare quotes into everyday life.

my best friend and the boy i think i may one day love want to attend art school too. for some reason i cant shake the image of us all in a trendy loft, painting and reading and watching film noir movies into the night. really, im sure we’ll be cramming and eating kraft dinner. but i have time to dream…

for now, grade 12 life takes over. i cant wait for real life to start.

i want to have art in my career.i want to do something that i love and make money doing it!

I study photography at an art school and will finish in 2010 (if everything goes well). It’s stressful sometimes but it is also life altering. I’ve met my love there and some real friends.

as of tonight, i’m all done and graduated. it’s been a hellishly long two years working and schooling full time, but i think i’ve learned way more than i ever thought possible. so, now to apply it to a career…

I’ve gotten into Glasgow School of Art to do painting!

in life we all put masks to hide who we really are but it takes a true love to send you free ….
and for me i’ve found my true love that i talk to.. that i go wild with… that calms me down when i’m mad … that cheers me up when i’m sad …. ART !!!
when i draw i’m me… no masks… no walls just me and my true love …

But not the kind of money for it. I applied to lots of place got accepted, but not enough scholarships to pay for it. :( If your parents are rich don’t take it for granted, b/c your lucky and have more oppourtunities in life! As for me I know i’m good enough to keep doing it on my own, and hopefully someday get some recognition for it.

I got into Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and California College of the Arts (CCA)!!!
