because it is now within one month of my completion of it and I have nowhere near the endurance necessary to run at such a high speed for a long time. I go to the gym only four days a week, so if I did that six or seven days since I adopted the goal I might have a chance of making it. But I think I can sprint fast enough to do this. Thus the tweaking.

As I ran today, I apparently pushed some invisible limit and thus barely managed to stay on my feet for the last two minutes or so. I am proud that I managed it, but I wasn’t going all that much faster than I had before. So perhaps this goal will need adjustment.
I discovered treadmills this past school year: previously I had avoided running because I would sprint and wear myself out. Treadmills allow me to pace myself, which I need.
I was close to being able to do this earlier this summer, but mid-June I got a throat virus and then mononucleosis, which ended that. My goal for school will be to do this!
Yes! I ran a seven-minute mile! I find that it helps if you sprint the straightaways and job the curves of the track. I ended up shaving off two minutes off of my normal time (9 minutes), but at the cost of being so tired I collapsed.
ouch… I can run eight-minutes if I almost pass out… I’m going to need to train.
