Inspire a young child

I received my god-daughter’s published work yesterday. The book is in a A5 format and beautiful. I felt like putting on gloves when I received her book with her simply dedication of ‘I Love You’ written to me from my beloved princess. I am on cloud 50,000 nothing could mess this joy!

Okay, that is enuff gushing….....I am tickled!

I got a beautiful phone call from my eight year god-daughter who told me that she had just won a competition. Her short story was going to be published in a book and her school is really proud of her. She then said, thank you nenen for reading all those books to me, helping me to read and making up stories, it all helped. See i like writing stories, just like you.

I feel so extremely proud of her and yes, I feel good that i inspired her creativity.

Goal status: long term

I can see it now… my acheivement being coveted by some small child who looks up to me as a hero. Aww…
