I know I don’t show my parents enough love and gratitude for everything they’ve done for me. Obviously paying off their mortgage isn’t the most romantic way of doing so, but if I could do this it would be fantastic. I’m not sure I will be able to, seeing as I only start earning in August 2007, and my salary won’t be great. But it would be amazing if I could… they still have years on their mortgage and they want to retire and enjoy life – and they deserve to. My sister and me are preventing this and I wish I could take the financial burden off them. Maybe I will be able to contribute. If not, I’m definitely going to splash out on them once I have my first pay packet.
