Yay, I just need to work on getting my arms vertical and having my legs straight from the start.

I have got so much better than when I started.
I have been filming my progress. Here is a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqOtT4DU8fk

I can do a crab now, a basic bridge with bent knees apart, and hold it for about 10 seconds. But about 10 days ago I couldn’t even get my head of the floor, so I am so happy!
When I showed my mum she said ‘oh good, you will be able to do one my Easter Sunday then’. So I make that my challenge, to do a full bridge by Easter Sunday.
I will post pics tomorrow of what I can do so far.
i need this to perfect my walkover (front) because my bridge is pretty crappy so it turns out bad.
Bridges improve your arm strength and balance. (Not really sure, that’s just what I think) It does improve your flexibility, though. Doing bridges can lead you to several other stunts, like bridge kickovers.
I’d say this is pretty easy. I’m not a very flexible person and I’m quite a big guy (not fat). But I tried to do this every day for maybe a week and found that I could by the end of it. I’m going to call this done when I can hold one of my feet or hands off the ground. That’s a bit tricky.
Then I’ll move onto the backbend (http://www.43things.com/things/view/42788) and kickover.

My back’s just not cooperating! Ah well, you can’t have it all. Good luck to everyone else with this goal!
it’s quite simple really. well, i don’t know who to explain it.
but it’s fun! it stil sort of feels like the weight of my body is heavy. well it is.

I surprised myself when I did this at class tonight . . .
It felt so good.
Vicky is determined to stay on here this time :)
Definetely going to try do this every day. I’ve printed off some stretches for your back which are said to help strengthen it. So hopefully I will!!!
