Didn’t have to go expensive here, just got a couple of pairs of jeans that actually fit me from Kohl’s. Levi’s 511 and 514. Clothing made for skinny people. Another step forward in no longer living in clothes two sizes too big.

most of my clothes are thrift store junk or from Target. I should really make the effort to be a little more fashionable. it will probably do wonders for my self esteem.
... I need to think more carefully about the image I want to portray and be that person.
All mine are typically the same, dull. Back to school shopping should take care of that.
i have lots of awesome clothes but they never seem to be very good! and a lot of the good clothes cost too much… like $20 even on clearance!
Susan H is exploring motivation
With a higher salary, more plus-sized retailers, more flattering styles, a shrinking waistline, and a promotion on the way, I’m out of excuses. Getting by with a semi-professional wardrobe isn’t going to cut it anymore, and there’s plenty out there that’s comfortable, stylish, and well-made.
I probably watch too much What Not to Wear, but it’s helped me realize that two old saws are true: dress for the position you want, not the one you have; and dress the body you have now, not the one you don’t have yet.
So starting this month, I’m going to aim to spend $50-100 a month on good wardrobe pieces – well-made shoes included. Getting a Christmas boost has helped me get started – I actually found two pairs of dress trousers that look great and are comfortable without being slouchy!
I need to buy clothes that are professional, but still stylish and young (like 25 young, not 15). I mean, I don’t need power suits or anything, but having the same kind of wardrobe as my boyfriend’s teenage little sister is probably not the best for someone in their mid twenties..hopefully I can find a good balance of work and play clothes that reflect both sides of my personality.
I want to buy better clothes. Clothes that reflects who I’am and my interests. Stop worrying about being judged by other people.

...and I feel as though my shopping choices in the past year or so can attest to the fact that I have finished this goal. And it’s pretty great when you are comfortable in your threads. :-)
It is so sad, I’m 16 years old and I have no fashion sense at all, but all of that is going to change. This weekend, I’m going to go shopping, and instead of buying my normal graphic tees and oversized jeans, I’m going to attempt to put together atleast one fashionable outfit.
