I am forming a team for the walk in my town, May 24th, 2009 :)

My Dad has MS 17 months ago

I formed a team with several coworkers and walked this year after wanting to do it since… forever. It was amazing to be surrounded by those who share my family’s struggle.

Registered for MSwalk today 2 years ago

Today I registered to walk in San Diego on
    Sunday, April 29th.
I do not know anyone with MS but I’ve always been interested in walking/running for a good cause.
I think it will help a lot of people with MS and give them hope.

Take a look at my page
    http://www.mswalk.com/sundaysundaes

Many individuals raise $250 on average but since I’ve never done anything like this and don’t have a big network, I have decided to set my goal at $100. A goal I can hopefully reach.

    Even a dollar would help.

I walked 50 miles for MS 3 years ago

in the June 2006 Charlotte MS Challenge Walk sponsored by the National MS Society. My team raised over $6000, and in 3 days we walked 50 miles. It was incredible.

    April 8th!! 3 years ago

My husband, I and the rest of our “team” will be participating in the MS Walk in Pensacola … so far we have a team of 8!!

We are walking for our best friend, Angie, who was diagnosed last year shortly after delivering her adorable son, Ethan … Angie has taught me so much about perserverence. What if everyday you woke up not knowing if you’d be able to see or get out of bed or hold your child? For many people with multiple sclerosis, this is their reality. This is Angie’s reality.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) usually strikes adults in the prime of life – between the ages of 20 and 50. It is a chronic disease of the central nervous system affecting the brain and spinal cord. One new case of MS is diagnosed every hour. It comes and goes unpredictably, leaving people to wonder, “Will I become paralyzed, blind or have trouble walking? Will I be able to raise my family and continue my career?”
