I have been thinking about this for months now… I am going on holiday in Sept and my belly resembles a lump of dough. I weigh the correct weight for my height and I cannot afford really to lose much, but this thing is just hanging off my front like a third boob – and I HATE IT!!!! I know that it is unlikely that it will be gone by sept, and I know the answer is exercise, but, I just cant motivate myself. Anyone with advise??

Hello anyone…
I’m new to this. I have no idea if anyone will read this so it’s more just for myself, to help motivate me. I want to lose 5 kgs by my birthday at the end of September. I know that is not exactly a difficult goal but I am so hopeless that I’ve started early this year. So far my plan is just to cut out the fatty and junky foods and the fizzy drinks, except when mixed with spirits. I usually go ok untill I get home from work and then it all goes out the window. I’ll have a huge dinner and feel totally full, and then also eat ice cream or chocolate or lollies… I know what I’m doing wrong I just need to stop and stick to it. So that’s why I thought if I posted a quick comment on here each day then other people will know if I fail.

I got to 60.5. Probably because I haven’t eaten yet but still, even with something in my belly it is pretty nice.

I wasn’t going to have another weight loss goal. But it turns out I need to. Get used to this particular one because it will be recurring a few times! Baby steps:)
I can do 5kg. Easy!!

I am somehow half way through. But it might not be stable yet.
I will go on running at the gym and hopefully get less bored when my husband comes back with my new and pink mp3.

Current weight in the morning after getting up, going to loo, before eating: 61.5 kilos. Since I was starting at 64 (see entry Apr 28) I am doing great!

Well, either that or the new scales are kinder to me than the old ones.

my current weight is not unhealthy. i need to do this because I love my sport (wrestling) and want to excel in it. this is difficult the heavier category you’re in. I know I can weigh less than 63kg (which puts me in the medium-weight, easiest category for me) so I just need to do it. I’m on the GI diet and I’m doing the couch-to-5k program so it shouldn’t take too long. hopefully…
