Since my entry about couch to 5K run I’ve been eating more and more – then a week after the initial run my pms started and I’ve been eating probably at least 500kcal more each day than I usually would (mostly junk foods). 2 weeks on I’ve put on 2kg total (although some of it will naturally come off after period). I feel the fat around my thigh, arms and tummy. It might sound like an excuse to some but I’ll probably stop exercising for now(I’ll probably do yoga now and then) and focus on eating better.

I’ve just finished a bag of cheetos.
Although I ran today this behaviour is gross and shall be stopped.
I seem to have lost motivation to eat modestly since I started exercising. Like I never ever finished a bag of cheetos before.
Exercising is becoming the new excuse to eat!

I’ve just downloaded couch to 5k podcast. I’ll try this with my elliptical machine tomorrow. Yes I own an elliptical machine but I don’t use it very often…

Walking a little more lately. I can walk 1 station now after work because it’s still bright outside. I try to walk fast in the city. Not like mad fast but you know brisk walk. I weigh the same, probably because I eat more junk food – it’s cheap and it’s close from work. Ate like a bird today to offset yesterday’s junk, consisting of mainly fruits, milk, 1 yakult and fibre rich crackers. Heaps of water. I’m bringing tuna avocado salad tomorrow. :)

I now have to loose more like 10kg!
I started at the gym last week (1 day) and as a reward for being soooo good, ate a large chocolate log, chocolate cake, and a lot of other things to.
Could hardly fit in my “loose” jeans this morning.
Going to the gym again tomorrow.
Wont eat cake, wont eat cake, wont eat cake…

I just ate 2 x new Tim Tam honeycomb. It’s SO YUMMY. I don’t really care how much calories it has. I’ll just eat like a bird tomorrow. It’s that yummy.

I have tried a lot of diets before and nothing lasted, essentially because 1. I’m not that fat and I get lazy (but my ideal weight is -5kg from what I weigh now) 2. I love eating 3. I hate exercise. So I decided to cheat a little, as I came across a magazine article that explained, cutting 1 teaspoon of sugar every day will automatically make you lose 2kg a year. Same thing goes for toning exercise. Doing 5 sit ups everyday actually works a lot better than 100 sit ups twice a year. I decided to take this approach on board and do something little everyday without changing my life style too much. I already started walking faster and I run when I can. I started taking stairs where available.
