Undergo Rolfing

I’m in my second year getting a BFA at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, and I have sscoliosis. Suffice to say, those two combined just cause extreme frusteration, not only with what i perceive as the limited mobility of my body and breath, but just the sheer pain that occurs from putting in 14 hour days anywhere. Anyway, I began getting rolfed 5 weeks ago, and I had my 5th session today. This is one of the most fantastic things I’ve ever had happen to me – the air just FILLS my body, I finally know what it’s like to be grounded (after getting yelled about it for over a year), and I feel so much more in touch with my bodily awareness. PLUS, you can see a pretty dramatic (at least for me) shift in my scoliosis…and so many other awesome things. I cannot recommend Rolfing to highly :)

I only got it done once (I think you’re supposed to do it repeatedly), but it was great.
