I’ll flag this as complete as I’m now doing more and making nice things. From Bonsai tables to puzzles it’s all looking very nice.
Bought a cheap and nasty one and then improved it as much as I could. Made my own slide to make sure wood is at right angles to blade and all is pretty good. Mounted the router to the table even though it was the wrong model but it works well.
A quality unit would be nice but hard to justify at the moment.
I’ve got the equipment…. I’ve got all the plans…. I’ve got the desire, drive, initiative, and interest. What I don’t have is the TIME. Haven’t been able to find the time for this since I started a new job in late 2004. Perhaps I’ll be able to combine this with my 43Things goal of building a boat.
The title of this post is also the name of a marvelous book by Eric Sloane. Check it out!
