buy a domain name

With the guidance of dwlt, I’ve just bought the domain name for my business!

Squeeeee!

Of course, it’s completely blank now, but hopefully not for long. I need to find someone to build me a good website for a good price. Or, ideally, no price at all.

i’ve had one before, called burnedice.com which no longer exists. it was so much fun, but seeing as how i was about 13 years old when i owned it the content and design was elementary. now that i am older, and more sophisticated in my design and html skills, i want to create another domain name and to have a substantial amount of visitors to keep it going. also, i want to get good at html and photoshop again. i’ve owned dozens of websites, all on other people’s domains and free servers, and it was alot of fun. i love web design and i used to consider it as a future career.

Have I bought A Domain Name? No. If bought HUNDREDS of them! I’m like the shaver guy (Yeah this one’s gonna date me!) – “I liked it so much I bought the company!” (If you got that reference then – like me – you’re probably too old to be spending your time like this!!! ;)

I can recommend Aplus.net for hosting your domain - reasonable prices, great customer service. Any time I’ve had a problem, a quick (toll-free!) phone call got things straightened out. Also, I once e-mailed them for help and not only did I get a response within 6 hours, but it was a response from a real person. Also, their servers are incredibly reliable - I only know of one time that something happened to one of them, and that was a power-supply problem that was fixed in less than 24 hours.

I got my 3 years ago and loving it!! Best investement I’ve ever had.

two years of webspace is now mine. after years of agonizing over what to call my domain, it all came down to randomly stumbling across the right phrase. i hope to soon be the proud parent of a visually stunning space.
