She stood in the middle of the road .. her head hung low just waiting for the end.
Starved and alone the family that had her just turned her out to fend for herself .. She was just a baby not even 4 months old that day she decided to stand there in that road.
I stopped my firebird and got out she was at the front of the car still with her little head down. Like she was saying “No one loves me HIT ME ” she was a beautiful little heeler pup if you saw through the dirt and the grime that covered her.
My son said ewwwwwwww she is sick mom . I said no she is sad and she was .. I called to her for some reason the name Taipan came to mind .. come Taipan lets go home and do you know what she did ..came right to my arms and ewwwwwwwwww she stunk but I gave her the hugs and cuddles she needed..
Taipan became a member of our little house hold where she would mother any little ones that happen to come through her life ..
I was blessed to have that little girl .. she is happy now with a new mommy in the states ..
When you save an animal .. when you see it go to a new home ..it is a feeling that is sooooooooo good you have made a difference and it counts
