My son & I snowshoed into the cabin after dark. Half moon was out, very quiet. The cabin was 22 degrees Fahrenheit when we opened it. 36 F by the time we got to sleep. Note to self: stock cabin with more than one night’s worth of fire wood next fall.

We aren’t going mushing this year, but we are going snowshoeing this week…into the cabin in the mountains for a couple days.
