I gave it good thought and I am a better hostess than guest. I also reminded myself how well I know myself. How finicky a sleepr I am. Temperature, and such. Did I really want to wake up in the middle of the night and wander my way to the loo? did I want to risk my Fabulous vacation to the world of crankiness for not sleeping well?
Nope.
I will make a Fabulous couch surfing hostess. As soon as I buy a new house I will add HOST a couch surfer to my list.

Coming up. Couch surfing four days while I am at the National Storytelling Festival. I think I made a good couch pick and am looking forward to the experience.

Couchsurfing is a website where people from all over the world offer up a free sleeping spots in their homes for random people who either dont have money or just want to make new friends. It is something that I have been wanting to do for a while. To be able to just randomly be invited into someones home for a night or two and experience something new if always worth a try

Set up a profile sometime ago, but still have not done this. Maybe on the upcoming road trip. I told my friend about it and how we should do it. She seems a little skeptical, but I told her we have to try it at least once.

I was thinking about doing this when I headed to Vietnam.
but being the cautious person I am decided to test it in my country first. It is really cool and you nerely always meet like minded people.

lynner life is short...do another backbend!
I now feel like I have two new friends in this soon-to-be-my-hometown. we had so much in common, which was such an unexpected and sweet surprise. I went trail running with m., yoga soup with j. and spent lots of time relaxing and hanging out. we hope to meet up again this summer, either when they come up to the bay area, or when I go back down.
