1. Singapore (too young to remember!)
I recall taking my first flight with Mum when I was a kid.. and there was a slight turbulence, Mum turned pale but I thought it was fun and games!
2. Thailand – Haatyai
Dad’s company trip.. I think we took a bus there.. too young to remember
3. Australia – Perth (1989)
First family trip abroad. Very memorable, welcomed by lovely weather and great attractions. That’s why I’m back for more!
4. Hong Kong, 199x twice, 2002
Visited Bro who had been posted over there for work, went once with Mum and another time with 2 sisters and the kids.. Again in Dec 02 en route Chonqing for Ford Finance Training
5. Indonesia – Lake Toba
a much needed family trip in 199x
6. Myanmar
With Bro and Sis and their families.. fully sponsored trip, Myanmar was very authentic, antiquated and spiritual
7. Switzerland, 20 cities! (2000)
The most memorable, with dad’s company and visited Koo Mah and family, Sis Doris and SST.. It’s like a fairyland.
8. France – Annecy, Evian (2000)
Took a ferry to Evian from Lausanne where Doris stayed. SST drove to Annecy where all the pretty canals were, replica of Venice.
9. China – Chongqing (2002)
Ford Finance Training, stayed at Marriot. Aaron Kwok the HK singer was there too, in the same hotel..flew out on the same day as us.
10. Spain – Barcelona (2007)
With Sis Doris and SST, visited Bee Lee. Gaudi’s a brilliant, brilliant architect. Flamenco was awesome
11. UK – London (2007)
An affair with Ben and Phantom of the Opera was magical!
and in between visited loads of places and islands in Malaysia, major cities in Australia.. and still counting!
