save money for a down payment for a house

So until I get my credit cards paid off (see goal #1) I won’t start saving for this… and even then I’ve never been so good at saving… but I’m in LA and the stock at Yahoo! cannot be counted on right now for a down payment… so I’m gonna have to learn. Next post will hopefully be a plan.

after two years of saving and saving, i’ve finally put an offer in on a house, and it was accepted. I’m going to be a homeowner, yay!!!!

I would still love to save money, but now that we’re moving to San Francisco for a year, I think our savings are going towards things like food.

Paid off 7K in debt since october, and now have almost double saved for a down payment. Goal is to start house hunting May for June decision and July move in.
