I was going to Freecycle my George Forman Lean Grilling Machine because I just didn’t like cooking burgers in it. Too messy. But then I thought I wonder if I could make my own panini sandwiches and it works great. So while I didn’t Freecycle I did recycle.

I gave away all the magazines cluttering my house. Now if I could only stop buying magazines.

A terrific Idea! 13 months ago

It seems as if I’ve always got stuff that we don’t use/need anymore, but it’s too good to throw out. I even gave away an antique dining table to a woman who was thrilled with it. Often it’s something that Goodwill probably wouldn’t be able to sell, like pots for starting seeds, but someone has been able to use it. I’ve even given away cuttings from our plants which would have gone in the compost but instead are growing somewhere else. I’ve received a lot of nice things from other members. I mostly ask for books to release through BookCrossing.
