"Absolutely best decision of my life."

How I did it: Set this as a goal when I joined the Church at age 16. Didn't realize then that I wouldn't have to wait too long to fulfill it! 

I didn't mean to get married young, and actually resisted becoming engaged for as long as I could, until it became very clear that I had found the right person and it was in fact the Lord's plan for my life at that time. 

I've been married one year and it's been the best year of my life. Just one eternity to go!

Lessons & tips: - Pray Hard

How I did it: We had some interesting moments where it was hard not to stay off eachother. Like others can tell you, the physical attraction was intense. We kept the goal in mind and instead of setting limits, we told eachother when we felt it was too much.     Actually, im already married, ill be trying to be SEALED this decemer. 2 months ago

    december is a tentative month.

    my hubby and i are in the process of having my ex-hubbys parental rights removed, because of incarceration due to child exploitation charges. which will afford us the opportunity to have my hubby adopt my 15 year old.

    then…well all be sealed in the OKLAHOMA CITY TEMPLE.

    cant wait!

    Temple marriages are where it’s at, so no one ever forget that! This is the only place where you can be sealed to the one(s) you love forEVER! I haven’t been married there yet, but I know about it :)

    I just read a book. Its in a series by Anita Stansfield and I fell in love with the books. Its about a couple who didnt get married at first because the guy wasnt a member of the church so she married a man who was. Well, later in life her marriage isnt going so well and the husband becomes inactive. She meets up with the other man she didnt end up marrying. Her husband died. She marries the other guy but they dont get married in the temple. By the third book, shes having a baby and her heart stops and it frightens him. His fears of them not being together in heaven begin taking over. Then he realizes that he will. Heavenly father has a purpose for him because we was worthy.

    I want to find a man who I can marry in the temple. I want to be with my future family in heaven. <3

    For many LDS guys, we say that serving a mission was “the best two years of my life.” I suppose they were. However, having been married for seven months, I am certain that the best two years of my life will always be the two most recent, because I get to come home to my best friend every day.

    I can’t say much more than what everyone else has said. It’s worth it. It’s wonderful knowing I’ll always have my husband with me, even in the next life. I can’t say enough what a comfort that is.
