I am working to finish my HUGE stack of mags by end of 2009!!! I added also that I am not subscribing to any magazine… the same as last year. This year I might be able to finish because I won’t be going to school, maybe until 2010. :D

I threw away US News & World Report, and I’m about to toss the Nation, which makes me unbearably sad, but how much am I going to learn from magazines a year old? And I’m still a month behind on Newsweek, which really does not get better with age. I think what I’ve learned is that I don’t have as much time to read as I used to, and what time I have I don’t want to devote entirely to nonfiction.
I’m not even up-to-date on Newsweek or the Nation anymore. I’m either going to have to devote my entire summer to this, or throw some of them away unread. At least my trial subscriptions to three magazines are over, so the rate at which I acquire new magazines will slow.
The stack has grown considerably. I’m going to have to cancel some subscriptions and admit that I can’t read every law journal cover-to-cover.
But I’m hitting a stretch of law journals which will slow me down considerably. And they just keep coming in the mail. Maybe I should cancel some subscriptions (you think?).
