live in baltimore

I’ve lived in Baltimore for 5 years now…what can I say. It used to be nice when it was dirt cheap, but now property values are skyrocketing and still going up after the real estate bubble has burst. It’s just not worth the money…

There is just way too much crime, very scattered art/music scenes, bad sports teams (ahem…Kyle Boller), and horrible public transportation. Oh yea, and for a city that is 70% African American, the city is WAY WAY WAY segregated.

I will say though, that the seafood is pretty darned good and the harbor and surrounding neighborhoods are pretty chill, although very touristy.

It’s a great city, from what I know of it so far.
