I’m spending more time on my sailboat and lovin’ it :)
How to sail more
How I did it: I made myself available. In the past i had so much going on I would miss opportunities to sail. This summer I made sailing a priority and was available each time I got the call to sail. So far this summer i'd say i've been out on the boat more than than any 3 seasons combined; it's wonderful. This weekend will be my first professional regatta.
Lessons & tips: Have a friend with a boat, easier than maintaining your own.
Resources: beer.

Well, I’m moving farther than any other place in the USA from water, so I mean there probably isn’t going to be a lot of sailing.
I am in a womans race team and we race every second week but the winter season is almost over one race left and don’t think our boat is carrying on. Will have to see if another boat will be willing to take a novice like me on.
so i have gone sailing and i liked it, but i never really went again. i duno why tho. id like to do it again
or the other way around. sail around the in the 7 seas and some more in a practical floating sailing device, and do so with sufficient bank support. a goal, a huge reason why i don’t mind to get older – not to mention kids hopefully living their own productive lives. i can definately imagine myself x-ing oceans, cruising coastlines per season, events, having everything at hand because theres nothing but time.. shiver at the thought =)
Humans all have one spiritual foot in the natural world… beyond city-traffic, job deadlines and credit ratings. Sailing helps me feel my place between land, water and wind. Beautiful.
