get another male maine coon cat

Don’t know if I mentioned this when it happened, but we lost our beloved Christopher 5 weeks ago. He was 21 and his decline was sudden. The timing was probably a blessing; I doubt he would have tolerated the stress of the increased activity level, not to mention the panic when strangers came into the house to view it.

It doesn’t make sense to get another pet right now, and I hadn’t even thought of wanting one until last night. I guess that’s a good sign.

and they were wonderful cats. Smart, funny, affectionate, and very vocal. They were great company. I’d recommend Maine Coons to anyone looking for a friendly and loving cat.
