Finally made it to Moonlight with a bunch of friends. The set up wasn’t as large as I imagined, but still there were a lot of people and a cool vibe with trees all around and city lights in the background. I thought my friend sitting behind me was throwing popcorn or something, but I realised there were Christmas beetles flying into my hair. So it really did feel like an outdoors experience. I only remembered a couple of scenes from watching it when I was younger, so I’m not sure if I did ever see the film in its entirety before. Great message- make the most of today!

With the membership I was issued a handful of tickets. We’ll definitely be going to one screening in January and will either invite some more people to that or see another film with the extra tickets. I remember someone invited me 10 years ago and that fell through. So a visit to the Moonlight Cinema is long overdue!

I’ve been twice this season and twice a few years back. The atmosphere is really relaxed. Don’t forget the aeroguard as the bugs come out after the sun’s gone down.
Either go to a chick flick with a bunch of your girlfriends or to a romatic movie with a close friend. If you take a picnic blanket and pillows, you can use the cool night air as an excuse to cuddle up a bit!!
I went with a bunch of my girlfriends to see good night and good luck. The film was dead boring, but we made sushi for tea and enjoyed that part of it. The photo is of two of my friends.
