How to learn how to paint
It made me

 "It was took some patience but it was really fulfilling to be able to express your inner talent properly"
How I did it: I enrolled in a basic oil painting class in Art Informal in Greenhills. The sessions were held every Saturday afternoon. I'm half way through the program but I can say that I've learned enough to paint these quirky thoughts inside my head. Our teacher is patient and there's only 4 students thus he was really able to focus on us. Lessons & tips: just go do it! enroll in a program. =) Resources: Art Informal at Greenhills 725-8518

How I did it: I started looking online for any local classes, art classes etc. I found my class being offered through a local college, U-Dub. An art teacher was instructing a 4 week course for beginner acrylics. I like the comments students left, and the course description. I always wanted to learn how to paint, but I just never had the time. I would love to learn how to mix colors and to find out if painting is really as relaxing as people say.

Well this one I just added on to my list because I’ve always wanted to do it. It sounds like so much fun. The only problem with this kind of stuff is I don’t know when I will ever have the time for it.

I want artwork for my living room and instead of just diving in and possibly making crap I’ve decided to do things right & take a class! In about 4 weeks hopefully I’ll posses enough skill to paint a few shapes on canvas :D

I would enjoy learning to paint. The only thing I have ever painted on canvas was a violin for my daughter when she was young. I thought I did a pretty good job for a beginner.

I took a drawing class when I was in college. It was a lot of fun but unfortunately it was also my last semester, so I didn’t get a chance to enhance my skills. I’d like to take a painting class, someday.

I’m pretty sure this is the only goal I havn’t even thought about working on. I don’t know, where can I go to learn how to paint??? part of me wants to take this down while the other part says just to keep it up and keep up for a week and maybe I just might stubble onto a place that teaches how to paint. Hopefully.

Although this is something I really want to do I think I’m going to take it off my list for now. I’ve jsut enrolled in two courses, plus have a full time job and a son, I don’t think this is something I’m going to focus on soon. So….I haven’t given up, just pushed this one further down the list=)

i never really appreciated art so much until now since im taking beginners art class. it’s so ggggreat!! tho it can be a bit frustrating since it’s time consuming but the more practice the better ill get._
