I’ve been writing a lot more in my paper journal lately. I’m trying to make it a habit, but my schedule has been all kinds of crazy lately and it has been difficult. I just need to make it a priority.
While waiting for friends at the museum the other day I wrote the first poem I’ve written in quite some time, which makes me happy.
After a series of really bad relationships I closed a part of me off and I think I worried that writing would open up some wounds I wasn’t ready to deal with yet. So far it’s not working out that way. It’s more like letting steam out little by little to make sure I don’t blow. 7 years ago

I’ve started bringing my paper journal with me to work. I’m going to try and make myself write in it sometime during the day every day. Either during my lunch hour or right after work. So far I’ve only done it twice, but it’s a start. 7 years ago

If you love to write, just keep at it. Even if you’re bored or uninspired. Do things that can help you write – take a class, read a book, and just start stringing words together (even one letter at a time!) The more you write, the easier it gets. 8 years ago

I’ve been writing a novel for a while, and it’s slow going…
I want to just be more disciplined with it. 8 years ago
