I’d love to be able to do this, pray the rosary every night without fail. Good luck me!

Vatican, Oct. 8, 2007
At his Angelus audience on Sunday, October 7, Pope Benedict XVI encouraged Catholics to pray the Rosary “for peace in families, nations, and the entire world.”
Noting that he was speaking on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Holy Father reminded the faithful in St. Peter’s Square that in her apparitions, the Virgin Mary as “insistently recommended the daily recitation of the Rosary as a means of ending war.”
I try to say at least a decade before going to sleep. I must be completely awake otherwise the rosary turns into verbal melatonin for me. I like this form of meditation the best.

To help this very important goal / desire I asked for a Prayer Kneeler for Christmas, and my wife got it fo me!
I took Jan 1, off to watch the Rose Bowl, however I will begin to break it in tonight.
I am at something of a spiritual crossroads. Perhaps the ROsary might be in my future as a regular prayer, perhaps not. Frankyl, I doubt it. I doubt it is very helpful to me. Maybe I will return to it. Maybe not.
I new a special time each day for prayer and reading the Schriptures.
I need to get busy on this important life long goal.
After pondering as to when I’m going to take this off my list, I’ve decided that I can officially take it off the list when I pray every day until Pentecost. By then, I’d officially covered the last couple weeks of Lent, and the entire Easter season. That’s definitely enough time to get a good habit going.
I’ve been praying the rosary everyday this past week (and I plan to continue to do so). I’ve been doing the 5 decades at a time, not the full blown 20 decades at a time. And to help me learn Spanish, which is another goal on my 43things, I recite the rosary in Spanish on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
