buy shoes with laces in them

I made a commitment this morning to actually just get some damn shoes. Luckily, the shops were in a co-operative mood, and were even running sales in order to entice me to part with my cash. It was, however, still a struggle to find anything that wasn’t an ultrawide fit or which just caused friction burns on my bony ankles, or indeed just slipped up and down at the heel.

I’ve had Merrell shoes before, and they’re the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. These seem to live up to that high standard. As you can see, plenty of laces to hold them tight to my feet as well.

I haven’t seen any shoes that have laces in them which I actually like. Maybe I’ll have to do more research online first.

...that I have some walking shoes. They’ll come in handy in the next few weeks, but I think I should probably get some regular shoes as well.

I only have a few slip-ons. Actually, I think just one pair right now. My boots have zippers, but the rest of my shoes have laces. I personally don’t like the how lace-less shoes look.

I need some new shoes anyway, and it also gives me a chance to try out the new reminder feature :-D
