write and direct a short film

Well, I’ve completed a student film. Not quite an indy short, as it was an excersise in DPing, but still a step towards this goal.

SICK THINKING is an 11 min short about a neglected wife who slowly poisons her husband for attention.

I wrote and directed and did just about everything. It won 2 awards at my school’s film fest and has been accepted into 2 local film fests to screen next month.

COMIC CON is a nifty short i hope to shoot in the next year. Real cinema gold! more to come later…

I studied Media at Uni did mostly documentaries so want to have a drama film I wrote and Directed so that I can always have it. I have started story boarding a fight scene I will use in it. This may take a while to do with the writing and boarding then getting the props etc but I want to do it.

The script is being written, cameras have been secured and lights have been purchased. Hopefully casting and location scouting can start in the next two months.

I did this when I was in college, my major was Media Arts(Film/Photography) it was a great experience!
