buy a new pair of sunglasses

Because the last pair I bought spontaneously dismembered (and I kept the screw but couldn’t find a screwdriver small enough, so I gave up hoping to repair them).

Now sporting a cute pair of aviators from American Eagle Men’s eyewear. Purchased at an AE outlet and after serious deliberation of many fine candidates!

“Excuse me,” – at one point a woman made as if she wanted to walk past me to the back of the store. I moved to the side, and then she and her son (husband? boyfriend? his age was that ambiguous) set up shop right in front of the sunglasses rack. Fine, it’s cool. The man looked a little embarassed when I resumed trying on sunglasses and explained the delay to my friends.

They keep getting broken!!!!!
I only have two pairs left, and neither have the disgustingly trendy flavor like the pair I’m wearing in my icon.

I’ve given up buying expensive sunglasses. Why pay that much for one pair when I can buy hundreds for 2 pounds at Primark, Camden Market and places alike?

Having decided that, this goal is done: i bought 2 new pairs. And there are more coming.

but not of those trendy, expensive and made-to-last ones. Actually, I payed 7 euros for them. :D

I’m sick and tired of them.

Yes, I finally completed this goal. I was right, as soon as I mentioned to my husband that I really wanted a new pair, he made it a point to stop at the store just to get me some. Woo Hoo!!

It really should, so why has it been months???? I think I will mention this to my husband, as I know that he will encourage me at every opportunity to get a pair. Really, I thought this would be the first thing I checked off.

I still have not done this. I had planned on buying a new pair, but I found my husbands sunglasses in the car and put them on. So I completely forgot I hadn’t gotten new ones until he reclaimed his. So now I still need new ones…

...that I don’t have a pair anymore. I threw a fit and broke them. I think that one month without sunglasses is a suitable length of time for punishment… time to buy a new pair.
