dye my hair platinum blonde

My sis has cancer and has to shave her head. I’m going in with her and chopping off my super long hair so we can grow it out together. I think I’ll get Agyness Deyn hair and go platinum.

It would be a big change, and I have never had blonde hair before =]
Going to do it in December.

I’ve got very, very short hair at the moment, I hate it and so I’m trying to make it as nice/interesting/attractive as possible.

so im pretty blond already – you could probably call my hair golden blond. anyway, i was thinking for a change, i could dye my hair wayyy lighter and more platinum blonde. but im not sure if i should do it. my hair colour is pretty nice right now (if i do say so myself :P) and i always like it when people ask me if its natural and then i can tell them that it is. however, if i dye my hair, then it wont feel the same. haha iono, would it be worth it to dye it? and then have my roots grow in really weird. this is a big dilemna for me. lol, ill probably just end up doing it.

i’m going to post a pic soon and then i will officially mark this “done” and have no more excuses – i’ll have to begin serious work on the other (probably more important) things on my list.

made the appointment for october 16th! am a little bit scared but also really, super excited! i have something to look forward to AND i kick myself up out of a rut!

impatient girl I am- I took the opportunity of seeing my hairdresser tonight to go ahead & run the idea by him (aka: get up the guts to ask him if he would, slash, convince him)... see, he has very strong opinions about my hair since I’ve often f’ed it up on my own & run back to him for damage control! anyhoo, he said he’d do it! we made a compromise to lose some of the length (cut to a very textured chin length bob) to insure it’ll look healthy & not fried but he said he’d go ahead & bleach me! he did make me swear to keep on top of the root maintenance though :)
I think I’ll hold out for about a month & then do it just before Halloween- will go perfect with my unicorn costume!!!
my bff is going to hate it & I bet my man won’t like the idea but OH WELL!

i’ve been platinum before (but with espresso hidden in the underneath layers) and want to do it again (without the darkness this time) soon. i’m thinking i’ll do it right at halloween and rock it for a few months aftewards.
